• Backyard BBQ’s -
At least four bbq’s are enjoyed each year,
2 in the spring, and 2 in the fall. Lots of food
prizes, games and fun are yours to be had. There
is no cost, and you can bring lots of friends.
Our bbq’s are held on a wedneday evening,
and usually start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 8:00
p.m. Check the web-site for dates and times or
call Art Z @ the church office.

Vacation Bible School- This is
an annual event dedicated to seeing our preteens
continue to grow in their faith in Jesus. We also
encourage them to actively invite friends and
neighbors who do not have a relationship with
Jesus to this event. Our VBS can include scripture
memory, lots of indoor/outdoor games, crafts,
skits, and lots of new songs to sing. They can
also participate in the passing out of flyers
to our surrounding neighborhoods, and business’.
Each year we see many children and families come
to faith in Jesus through VBS.

Summer Camps- Every summer there are
at least two camp choices given to this age group.
We do an in-house camp staffed mainly by Alamo
City moms and dads dedicated to seeing our students
have a fun summer. This camp is held at our church
owned property called Jubillee ranch. This facility
allows our students to get away from the city
and enjoy God’s creation. We enjoy a variety
of sports activities and tournaments. Our students
are ministered to every evening, and can enjoy
worshiping God through a time of praise and worship.
We also go swimming at a local chlorinated pool,
and enjoy hiking, fishing, board games, and much
much more.
We
also prvide an opportunity for our preteeners
to go to a much larger camp setting which can
vary from year to year as to when and where. This
camp is generally more expensive, but it does
offer more activities for our kids. There is also
a much larger group of students at this camp from
different places across the state. Either camp
provides for a great place for our students to
learn more about Jesus, and to fill their summer
with good wholesome fun. Specific dates and rates
should be available on line by the first of next
year

Special Outings- Throughout the
year we go to a variety of places and invite families
to participate with us. Some of these places are
as follows: The Alamo Dome for the annual Monster
Truck Show, Fiesta Texas, The San Antonio Zoo,
and Ghatti-Town Buffet just to name a few. We
encourage families to fellowship and strengthen
friendships within the church of Jesus Christ,
and theses outings encourage this! Being a part
of this fellowship will ensure that you have knowledge
of the what, when, where, and how. You can also
